The Grand Lason R3 presented by Zion Studios PH and co-presented by Bermor Techzone was a blast for tech enthusiasts, mainly the custom keyboards community. The event caters not only keyboards and its mods, but also other tech components like PC parts. It was surely a better time and place for the custom keyboard community for yearly dose of Lason (hence, the name) with all the discounts and offers from myriad tech brands and vendors. I, for one, had to buy and upgrade my mouse to a Garuda Gear Hawk 1 because my old mouse is 3.5 years old now.
With all the keyboards of many kinds on display, the keyboard community at large are showing off their creativity when it comes to modding keyboards. Not only that, there were also PC rigs of many shapes and sizes ranging from miniature PC, to Sakura themed or Gundam Themed PC, to even a Wheel Rim.
Of course, who couldn’t forget the plethora of keyboards, mods, and PC parts on sale? With vendors like Bermor Techzone, all the PC parts you can imagine were up for grabs. Not to mention keyboards brands like Wooting were on sale that we found on Hobby Dynamics where NicDroid and I did a typing challenge, and let’s just say that I didn’t do well.
Fancy a Steam Deck, or an Ambernic? They got those too!
There were also keyboards build for IBM PC DOS, and even LTT Water Bottle and LTT Screwdriver.
The Grand Lason R3 was definitely the event any tech enthusiast wouldn’t wanna miss. With all big names in the keyboards and tech community all came together for 2-days of non-stop lason with all the sales and discounts from keyboards and tech brands while nurturing the community at large.
We hope that all of this will come back for more next year at The Grand Lason R4, and hopefully I could upgrade my keyboard or buy another set and mod my own. We’ll see.
