December 7 event aims to unite pop culture enthusiasts with music, cosplay, and gaming
Manila, Philippines – Howlers Manila returns for its third edition this December 7, 2024, at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Open Grounds. Gates open at 9:00 AM, offering over 15 hours of continuous activities, from live musical performances to a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest gathering of people dressed as video game characters.
The event, which celebrates various facets of pop culture—including music, cosplay, and gaming—has grown significantly since its inception. This year, Howlers Manila aims to solidify its place on the international stage by uniting Filipino pop culture fans with global audiences.
Record-Breaking Cosplay Gathering
A highlight of the event will be the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest cosplay gathering of video game characters. Organizers encourage both veteran and novice cosplayers to participate and represent the Philippines’ vibrant cosplay community.

Organizers have announced the first wave of performers set to take the stage at Howlers Manila 3.0. The lineup includes:

- Flow G, a prominent figure in the local rap scene

- Ryannah J, a soulful singer-songwriter
- DJ Katsy Lee, renowned for her high-energy DJ sets
- DJ Waffster, who is expected to bring electrifying beats to the event
- DJ Emcey Grey, with a versatile mix of genres
- DJ Kitty G, famous for her engaging and crowd-pleasing performances
Additional artists will be revealed in the coming weeks.
